On 14th July we had a lovely walk through parks and spaces using the Green Spaces Map.  We started at Glengall Wharf Food Project to catch up on the amazing progress made there  and all the plans and projects going on there, then we walked down the Surrey Canal Walk admiring the edible walk ways.  We passed the TTP allotment at Bonar Road and the Goldsmith Road Nature garden.  Then we stopped to admire the raised beds at Cossal Park before enjoying some well needed shade at the Kirkwood Road Nature Reserve.  From there we headed up the hill via Nunhead Green to our destination at the Peckham Rye Park Community Raised Beds for homemade cakes.


It was a lovely little wander in the baking heat, and thanks to all who came, expecially Leah and Varrell who’d put in a couple of hours at the food project…
